Seijaku

The Reiki State may be serene...tranquil
The Reiki state may be compared to a Zen principle called Seijaku.

Seijaku (静寂)Tranquility or an energized calm (quite), stillness, solitude. This is related to the feeling you may have when entering a Japanese garden. The opposite feeling to one expressed by seijaku would be noise and disturbance.

One can experience the influence of Seijaku during their Reiki practice when the mind is quiet and serene like the stillness of the full moon beaming bright.

The more we practice the more we understand the activity coming forth from tranquility.

Thank you for visiting Reiki Basics,

Peace be with you in your daily life,
